WOW!We visited your farm last week and were so amazed by just about everything! The freedom our children were allowed to experience the animals, the cleanliness of the grounds, the relaxing atmosphere... it was just fantastic and really not an easy thing to find anymore. Our children were shocked when we said, yes you can over and over again! They had a very memorable afternoon. Thanks so much!

Four generations of family have enjoyed the Friendly Farm. Started coming in the 70s when John and Polly Radcliff (my parents) lived in Hancock! Yesterday (8/15/12) my daughter, Cathy and I introduced her son Daniel, the lateset in the forth generation, to the Friendly Farm. It never changes, always a happy and friendly place to visit. Daniel learned to say 'goat' and 'sheep' yesterday! Hooray for you!

My family and I went to Friendly Farm yesterday. We went to bring my two nieces (2 & 9mo). I have to say this was one of the best days I have ever had in a long time! Staff was amazing, and you all made it very special for us. The staff allowed the kids to bottle feel the goats and cows, and all the kids loved it! My husband and I will be moving away to Texas and leaving our family here in New Hampshire. We decided to go to Friendly Farm as a way for us to spend more time together, and it was amazing. Thank you so much to everyone who works there for such an amazing day. I highly recommend this for every family, of all ages!

I would like to express my feelings to you about your wonderful place and staff. I was granted the best day on Thursday August 13 2009 when my daughter Jill and 2 year grand daughter Amanda ask me to come with them to your farm. I was very impressed with the frienly greeting that we got and how clean the place was. The animals were very healthy and very hungery. My grand daughter had a wonderful time.Feeding and and walking through your farm. Being brought up on a farm myself it was really great to see such healthy animals. You do take great care in their health and safty. It is also nice that the children can handle and feed the animals with very friendly staff sometimes assiting.Jeff was so nice to my grand daughter . she is only 2 but can ask lots of guestions and Jeff was very kind to answer each and every one. You have everything there to aid the people that come to your farm. The out-houses (now I am dating myself) were very clean and there was plenty of hand cleanser around. I just wanted to say thanks!

I used to go to the Friendly Farm as a child, and just the other day, I had the chance to take my daughter for the first time. She had such a wonderful time, as did I! The staff was helpful, and the whole area was very clean (no saying 'Watch your step!' all the time). Thanks so much for the wonderful afternoon!

My daughter is 5. This will be the 4th summer that we have come to visit the farm. She has been asking since November when is the Friendly Farm opening again. Since April vacation she has been counting the number of Saturdays until you open. Lately she is asking daily. She has her entire first visit planned. Thank Goodness you have an opening date posted. If it wasn't next weekend I don't know what I would do. Thanks for making my girl into an animal lover.

We went to the other petting farm and so called zoo and the kids were scared to get near the animals, but the Friendly Farm experience changed all that and the kids are always asking to go back. You're staff has always been helpful and courteous. Plus you're prices are affordable. Thank you from the whole Porter family see you soon.

I liked all of Friendly Farm. And the gift shop is great. I had fun. The jumping goat followed us and was my sister's little friend. The chickens were my friends; they followed me because I gave them food. My favorite chicken was the Polish chicken, because I'm part Polish. Their hair goes over their eyes.

It's awesome for kids and a great place. But the chickens running around loose made me very nervous. I really liked feeding the goat a bottle.

We visited today and what a great experience!!! Adrian, our 16 month old son, had a blast! He could run around safely and all the animals were so friendly. Bruce let Adrian give a baby goat a bottle and then gave him some feed for the ducks and chickens. I loved the fact that he was out getting the kids involved. The farm was very clean and tidy. I can't say enough great things about our visit today. I came many times as a child and it was an amazing feeling to be able to share some old and make some new memories with my son. Thanks again and keep up the great work!!!! ~The Israel Family

I grew up in Merrimack, NH and my parents used to take me there when I was little. I was visiting my son's kindergarten class this morning and saw a little girl with a Friendly Farm sweatshirt on, and I couldn't believe it! I have so many fond memories of visiting there, I loved feeding/getting tackled by the goats. I hope to bring my kids to visit one day!

Just wanted to let you know that you are our daughter's favorite stop while we are in NH. She's seven now, but we have been making multiple trips a year since she was a baby. Sometimes, she wants to go twice in one weekend! We love the friendly animals. She used to be afraid of some of the animals, but each time we go, she gets a little bolder. She has now hugged a turkey and picked up a baby goat. Her favorite activity is picking up the baby chicks. Keep up the great work! Did you ever consider running a summer camp? I know my daughter would jump at the chance to help take care of the animals.

Hi, My husband and I took our 21 month old son to your farm on july 25th. We had a great time and my son loved the animals, especially the goats and sheep. He loved chasing them so he could try to cuddle with them. It was definitely worth the travel and money. We will be back next year.

My four year old had fun holding the newly hatched baby chicks while my 5 month old slept the whole time we were there. She even slept through one of the mother hens jumping on the baby stroller and trying to see who was under the blanket. We learned that baby goats are only fed formula once a day. and we saw the new baby calf. We found the place to very clean, the staff is very friendly and we hope to be back there soon.

What a great place to just come and relax! I have been coming to the farm since I was very young maybe even too young to remember. Now I have the chance to take my daughter-10 months. A trip I'm sure she won't remember, but it will start the yearly tradition that she will soon come to love, just as I did as a kid! Thanks for keeping such a nice place going!

Visting Friendly Farm as a child is one of my most favorite memories! After over 30 years, I still remember holding the baby chicks in my hands and how soft & warm they were and how they smelled like the sawdust shavings that they nested in. I tell my 2 1/2 yr old son all about Friendly Farm all the time. We are counting the days that we can get up there for his first of many visits! He's a true animal lover like me!

Hi! This website has lots of info about the farm. And I agree that the farm is really clean. I haven't found out when the farm is open yet though, but I'm still looking (I haven't even been on for 5 minutes). In the gift shop, I think you should get more pig stuff to put in there because there's not enough. By the way, I really love pigs! :) I love your farm! Sincerely, Lauren (age 11)

We've been coming to the Friendly Farm for a few years now, and we've always had a blast there. When spring comes, that's the first place my boys want to go. Every year, my husband and I wonder where you find so many friendly and happy teenagers to work on your farm! Thanks for providing such a wonderful and educational destination for our family. We can't wait 'til you're open in May. See you then!

Though I'm twenty two now and haven't visited in quite some time,I have many fond memories of both my parents and grandparents taking my sister and I to the Friendly Farm. It's wonderful to see that it's still lovingly maintained by the family that started it, and I hope it's there to someday take my children to.

I first found the Friendly Farm back when my oldest daughter was about 3 years old. That was about 16 years ago....and we have been going there ever since. It is true that we have not been there for a couple of years, and that my two daughters will soon both be off at college...but the Friendly Farm was the kind of place that my wife and I would love all by ourselves! In fact, I just recommended it to a guy at work today.

My husband and I visited Friendly Farm when we ourselves were young children. We carried on the tradition and took my sister several times when she was little. In the last few years we have visited many times with our own daughter and still love it. What a great place to visit. I hope Friendly Farm is still up and running when my daughter has children so my husband and I can take the grandchildren!!

Several years ago my sister and her 4 year old daughter were visiting from Maryland. I had come across Friendly Farm previously during a motorcycle ride through the country side so when they arrived, Friendly Farm is where we went and my little niece had a blast! My two grandsons (12 and almost 4) who live in Georgia will be visiting us next week and Friendly Farm is our first stop. I can't wait to show my grandsons the awesome place you have. To be honest I think I have a better time than they do but I just wanted to drop you a line that we'll be there soon. Thank you so much for having such a wonderful place to bring the children where they can learn and have first hand experiences with animals. See you soon!

I went to Friendly Farm when I was little, then I took my boys many times and I can only hope the Friendly Farm is still around when they have children of their own. It is a fun and inexpensive day, and that's hard to find today with prices so high. Keep up the good work at the Friendly Farm and we'll spread the word - the Friendly Farm is the place to go for family fun full day and save money!
